Introducing the Tyrannotitan, a massive bloodthirsty predator from the early Cretaceous period. This carnivore rivals even Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus in size, and is one of the most powerful dinosaurs in the Path of Titans roster.
Tyrannotitan is our 'mobile' colossal predator, using bleed and attrition to bring down its prey. It can weaken its opponent's ability to heal, and uses its fairly nimble maneuvering to dodge incoming attacks.

Tyrannotitan's Abilities
Let’s take a closer look at the mighty Tyrannotitan’s abilities.
Bite Attacks
Tyrannotitan can rip and tear with its Heavy Bite ability to cause massive damage, or use the Frenzied Tear bite attack to deal even more damage to bleeding targets.
Bloodsoaked Hide
With the "Bloodsoaked" hide ability equipped, each of Tyrannotitans bite attacks will cause its prey's blood to drip from its scales, doubling the Tyrannotitan's stamina recovery. Be wary though, as the blood from Bloodsoaked will deplete over time and quickly wash off in wet conditions. However, by equipping the Dried Blood Hide ability Tyrannotitan can further increase the amount of time it remains covered in blood of its enemies.
Feast
While Tyrannotitan is causing these massive bleeds to it's opponents, it can also utilize the Feast ability which will let Tyrannotitan rip a chunk of meat out of its unlucky victim and reduce their bleed healing further. Eating the fresh meat chunk also replenishes Tyrannotitan’s health and stamina.
Mobility
Tyrannotitan also boasts very nimble mobility considering its size. It can use the Dash ability for a quick burst of speed, perfect to outrun enemies, or close the gap between its prey. It can also use its Juke ability to evade incoming hits or to turn for a surprise attack by quickly rotating in place.
Vocal Abilities
But, that's not all for this massive predator, as it can use its Vocal abilities for even further carnage.Tyrannotitan’s Blood Chilling Roar reduces bleed healing for all creatures in close proximity for a short amount of time, and its Terrifying Presence call increases its ability to take hits for a full minute.
Tyrannotitan's Playstyles
Tyrannotitan has a full suite of abilities and attacks to tinker with in this update, even more than the other current massive dinosaurs in the Path of Titans roster. While other dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, Barsboldia, and Eotriceratops (and more!) will be getting their TLC passes in the future to add new abilities and tweak their combat playstyles, Tyrannotitan is stomping right out of the gate with all of these fully fleshed-out. However, this does mean that Tyrannotitan has abilities that may make it stand out compared to the other creatures in our roster.
For Tyrannotian, we decided to distribute its stats a bit differently compared to other dinosaurs. It boasts a large health pool, more stamina than its peers, good recovery stats, and excellent mobility for its size. However, to offset this it has similar combat weight to a Suchomimus, heals its status effects slower than other dinosaurs, and its big damaging moves you'd expect from any large dinosaur have noticeable cooldowns and a stamina cost. Tyrannotitan does not wish to face tank other large dinosaurs, instead, it aims to wear them down over time and use its abilities to either deal large burst damage, or evade incoming damage. We're eager to see how players use this new colossal hunter and we hope you enjoy playing it.
We're excited to release Tyrannotitan earlier than originally planned as it was originally scheduled for after the full game launch. We knew having the "Titan" in "Path of Titans" was a must-have. Tyrannotitan is included for free if you already own the "All Base Game Dinosaurs" pack. This also includes the Tyrannotitan Backer skin also being included for free in the "All Backer Skins" bundle.
We hope you enjoy playing with our latest titanic carnivore and look forward to hearing your feedback! Thank you for your support as we continue rolling out new content to Path of Titans. We’ll see you in the next update!
