Eotriceratops stampedes into Path of Titans, featuring an updated look and new abilities that place it among the strongest on our herbivore roster.

Eotriceratops Ability Overview

Eotriceratops is a massive dinosaur that may not be terribly fast, but is very maneuverable and quick turning, a strength it takes advantage of to ensure it is always facing its enemies horns-first, ready to dish out damage.

Eotriceratops can choose to lean into its defensive capabilities by heavily focusing on its new Block ability and several new effects that reduce the damage it takes. Equipping the new Horn Lock Senses ability will buff Eotrike's armor by 20% for every hit it receives, stacking up to 5 times which essentially doubles its armor making you the ultimate shield for your teammates. Eotriceratops can further boost its tankiness by using Bony Frill, a new hide ability that doubles its damage resistance while blocking and while also making its Block use less stamina too.

For an Eotriceratops that is looking to provide more benefits to its group we have new abilities that align with being near other ceratopsians. “Headstrong” is a hide option that builds up with each blow Eotriceratops takes to its head, stacking up to 10 times before triggering a quick boost to both itself and all its group mates allowing them to run with no stamina cost for 10 seconds. Frilled Bond is also a new ceratopsian-exclusive passive ability that boosts both Eotrike's armor and damage slightly, stacking up to 4 times when grouped with other horned species. Frilled Bond is designed to give a stampede of ceratopsians that extra edge to strike fear into would-be predators.

Finally we have several new abilities for those Eotriceratops who only care about dealing maximum damage as quickly as possible. Sharpened Horns has been moved to the Senses slot to allow Eotriceratops to equip either Block or Head Slam with their standard Headbutt attack. Head Slam works similarly to Albertaceratops’ version, a high damage attack with a longer cooldown and greater stamina cost compared to its standard Headbutt. Horned Edge is a new Hide option that buffs Eotriceratops's Sharpened Horns with a damage boost, faster cooldown, and less stamina requirement. Overrun is also a helpful passive effect that makes Eotrike's Charge use less stamina and a tighter turning radius. Finally, Backlash is a new ability type that causes Eotriceratops to automatically swing its tail at attackers whenever they bite it from behind, knocking them back to give Eotrike time to square back up to them.

We hope you enjoy all the new abilities that Eotriceratops can take advantage of! Let us know what you think, and as always we will be looking out for community feedback regarding this massive horned dinosaur. Thank you for reading!
